Yaw Derkyi 

Dancing Pool

'Dancing Pool' was the 2016 UK Songwriting Contest World Music winner - Yaw Derkyi (pronounced Yow Derchie) is from Ghana in West Africa and he performs with his traditional drumming, dancing, singing and chanting group 'Karifi' including his daughters Aba, Kakraa and Panyin. He also performs with other World music ensembles including 'Worlds Collide' and he also writes his own material. His song, 'Dancing Pool' was the inaugural winner of the UK Songwriting Contest in the World Music category 2016. Check out the vid and contact details are at bottom of this page and...

Winston Hazell

Winston, from Trinidad, in the West Indies, is a Reggae ska and soul singer. He has performed in Sydney and New South Wales with many bands including 'Shango' and 'The Majestics'. 'Face Of The Prisoner' is a deep reggae song about freedom and 'Promised Land' is an old skool ska song about freedom as well!

Paul Mbenna

Paul is an amazing singer and song-writer from Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania in East Africa. A top performing artist in Tanzania, he is now based in Sydney, he has just released his song  'Nitafanya' with producer Zux and he is also performing East African swahili guitar pop 'boogaloo' with the 'Okapi Guitar Band'. Sam Derchie

Sam Derchie (original name Derkyi) is a brilliant respected bandleader, singer/songwriter and keyboardist from Ghana. He performed with the famous Ghanaian band, 'The African Brothers' and when he came to Australia he set up the bands, 'Kalabash' and 'Klub Hilife' to amaze crowds with their hilife groove. He continues to perform his wonderful Ananse Stories show across Australia. 'Nsubeto' is a plaintive hilife song about being aware of the signs of the storm.
